With the expected summer release of the home video version of The Secret of Arrietty, it’s largely been expected that Disney will follow what they’ve done before by releasing a couple of other Studio Ghibli releases as well. This happened with Ponyo and eyes have been watching as to what will be announced this time around, especially as pretty much everything has been released on Blu-ray in Japan and several of them in the UK as well that are still unavailable here. According to first blush information on Amazon, it looks like the releases accompanying Arrietty this time will be Whisper of the Heart and Laputa: Castle in the Sky. No details or dates are included but the pricing is as expected at $39.99 for the DVD/BD combo releases.
