With FUNimation having gotten the ball rolling recently in regards to their Broadcast Dub side of High School DxD BorN, they’re also making sure to get a bit more out there about the ongoing simulcast itself, which is definitely welcome. They’ve now launched a new two minute long clip from the early episode in the season that plays to some fun references as the group heads to where they’ll be training for their summer break and we get to see some familiar things from anime properties that are fully ingrained in the culture. The first two seasons came relatively quickly with the first debuting in 2012 and the second hitting in 2013. FUNimation has released both of those on DVD/BD in North America and has rights for this new season as well.
The light novel series began in 2008 and has seventeen volumes to its name so far. A manga adaptation kicked off in 2010 with the main run of it having four volumes, but there are a few spinoffs as well. Yen Press has picked up the main manga as well as the first spinoff from 2012. A 3DS visual novel game was released at the end of 2013 in Japan as well.

Rias takes Issei as a more-than-willing slave and begins training him to use magic in battle against the Fallen Angels, the long-time enemies of Devils everywhere. If Issei can improve his mystical skills, he’ll be able to help his hotter-than-hell master and her scorching supernatural schoolgirl friends defeat their foes. Even better, he might end up with a few sexy slaves of his own.
