Syfy Orders Pilot For Futuristic Thriller ‘Incorporated’ Syfy has a new pilot that they’ve ordered that’s likely going to go to series with Incorporated, which is being produced by Pearl Street Productions. That company is Matt Damon and Ben Affleck’s production company and they’re working with CBS Television Studios and Unviersal Cable Productions to get this off the ground and it certainly sounds like it has a strong chance of doing so. Playing off their own interest in the convergence of politics and money, they’re producing the show that was created by David Pastor and Alex Pastor, and they’ll be directing the pilot as well. Ted Humphrey of The Good Wife is serving as an executive producer and showrunner on the project.

Said Syfy President Dave Howe, “Incorporated is an electrifying example of what science fiction does best: holding a mirror to present realities and projecting forward to a recognizable future in which we face the impact and consequences of our actions.” Added Damon and Affleck: “Incorporated provides us distinct insight into a world dictated by our decisions today. Viewers will delve into the intricacies of our future, one that we are constantly warned of, but as a society have not yet explored.”

Plot concept:Set in a dystopian future where companies have unlimited power, Incorporated centers on Ben Larson, an executive who is forced to change his identity in order to infiltrate a cutthroat corporate world and save the woman he loves. In the process, he will take on the entire system – with deadly consequences.

Incorporated will explore the growing influence of corporations and private interests in Washington, the slow but steady dismantling of the public sector and the increase of an amazing amount of wealth by an ever shrinking minority. With complex characters and a dark sense of humor, the show will take viewers into a world where the ethical boundaries have been completely redrawn.
