Pony Canyon is certainly putting together some good releases for the Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu series and now a few more details have surfaced for the second volume, which is set to land on January 30th, 2015. That release will bring out the third and fourth episodes and will come with the artwork sleeves that you can see below from Ayumu Kasuga now that the cover art itself has been revealed. The first press bonus materials here are pretty slic as there are three cards being included with it as well as a one hundred page luxury book with storyboards and more. The release also comes with a more standard booklet, a staff commentary and a cast commentary. The twelve episode series began its release on December 26th, 2014 for six volumes with a new one following monthly. The Blu-ray releases are priced at 7,020 yen each while the DVD releases are priced at 6,264 yen each.
The series was directed by Hiroyuki Kanbe at Production IMS based on scripts by Naruhisa Arakawa and character designs by Kazuaki Morita. Toru Kitahata served in the production as the assistant director while Masahiro Yamane is on board to work on the action animation and alien design. Studio Noise handled set design while Tetsuya Watanabe has worked on 3D direction.
The show stars Nobunaga Shimazaki as Sōji Mitsuka, Maaya Uchida as Thouars, Chinatsu Akasaki as Erina Shindō, M.A.O as Mikoto Sakuragawa, Yōko Hikasa as Isna, Tesshô Genda as Lizadgildy, Tetsu Inada as Draggildy and Sumire Uesaka as Tail Red. The opening song is being done by Maaya Uchida while the ending song is being done by the three main voice actresses.
Plot concept: Twin tail enthusiast Mitsuka Soji suddenly meets Twoearle, a mysterious girl from another world who gives him the power to transform into a female Twintail warrior. To protect the Earth from monsters, Soji and his friend Aika Tsube transform into TailRed and TailBlue!
