The first pickup comes in the form of the acquisition of Black Rock Shooter for release with a subtitle-only DVD release due on May 13th, 2013.
Planned for a summer release but subject to change, the company has also picked up rights to the recently finished Eureka 7: AO anime series. It’s being sublicensed from FUNimation so nothing is determined at this point, though it’ll obviously be dubbed and at least DVD.
The company is also trying to right a problem that happened during a bit more of the downturn in the market with Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. After previously scrapping plans for release after very soft initial sales, which caused them to pull back on other Blu-ray TV series releases, they are intending to release the complete series on Blu-ray in a big box some time in 2013. The smaller sets will be released as well, showing that there is some market growth going on there, with the intention release the final three sets in April, May and June of 2013.
