If you’ve been brushing off cosplay as too dorky, it may be time to rethink your stance. A photo recently posted on Deviant Art finds DC comic heroes Superman and Arrow sharing a sexy kiss, while Wonder Woman and Black Canary watch in disbelief. But the next layer of intrigue comes from the fact that these are actually two straight couples.
The photo, taken by Frozen Memories by CJ, was put up by Laura (Wonder Woman), known better as PhoenixForce85 on the site. Her boyfriend Jesse is perfecting the muscular role of Superman. The couple have a Facebook page called JessoLaurus Rex, where they share many of their favorite costumed photos. Meanwhile, the cosplayers portraying Black Canary and Arrow are actually engaged in real life.
Here’s hoping Superman attends the wedding with those biceps on full display.
