Yurumate3Dei Episode #18 Anime Review Can they do an entire episode just about how awesome sleeping is?

Sleep is awesome

While the show has a good little cast to it, I admit that I always have a bit more fun when it focuses on Yurume. Something about her quirky view of things is just comical to watch. And the opening bit here hits home a little too close as she wakes up, cleans up, realizes it’s afternoon and is ready for a nap again. I know far too many people like that! Having an episode focusing on how she sleeps away the day and causes problems along the way is quite comical, from the mayo to the manga. Others are in a similar boat (or box as the case may be) as they try to nap and just while away the day. Matsukichi in particular is hilarious to watch as he sleep-cleans and then makes more trash in his sleep. Between this group, they get a lot of additional sleep which leads to them getting into some very cute situations as they wake up too.

In Summary:
With the run time of these episodes, it can be pretty hit or miss, but I’ll be damned if they didn’t make an episode about sleeping work for three minutes. With part of the allure of these guys being that they’re hyper and active, physically and verbally, getting a down episode like this might not work well. But seeing how they nap throughout the day and the quirks of it all works just right and leaves you grinning and picking favorites for who had the best day of sleep and who had the most problems.
