Discotek Media is getting a few more of their summer season releases solicited to retailers and that includes some Fatal Furygoodness for fans of this property that has been out of print for too long. They’ll be bringing out Fatal Fury OVA Complete Collection and Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture in two separate releases on August 26th, 2014. The OVA will include the original Japanese with newly translated English language subtitles along with the original dub. The movie release will be doing the same but will be working off of a brand new anamorphic widescreen transfer that’s been done just for this release, making it the best that the feature has ever looked in North America. OVA: Ten years after the death of their foster father, brothers Terry and Andy Bogard return to Southtown to extract revenge from crime lord Geese Howard. Fearing that her twin brother is slowly losing his sanity with every armour piece he collects, Sulia runs to Terry, Andy, Joe and Mai to form their own global crusade to stop Laocorn from opening a potential Pandora’s Box and releasing an uncontrollable form of destruction.
