Hulu Adds ‘BlazBlue: Alter Memory’ Anime Streaming Between new shows and some catch-up pieces, Hulu is quickly adding a lot of solid content to their library these days. The latest of the fall season simulcasts to show up on their service is the game to anime series BlazBlue: Alter Memory, which now has the first two episodes available in its original Japanese language with subtitles. The series mirrors other recent additions in that Hulu Plus members can stream this to non-computer devices and watch directly on TV sets, tablets and other devices.

The series is being animated at teamKG and Hoods Entertainment and we’ve had a look at the production staff and cast for awhile. With a series of games starting back in 2008 and extending into 2013 as well as a couple of novels and some manga, it’s no surprise that BlazBlue has gotten an anime adaptation.

Plot concept: In the year 2199, humanity eagerly awaits the dawn of a new century. When the world’s most wanted man – Grim Reaper – makes a move to destroy society, a ragtag group of powerful fighters make it their mission to stop him.
