‘Dragonball Episode Of Bardock’ Manga Gets Anime Adaptation Details are slim at the moment though there are a few unconfirmed rumors attached to it, but the one fact is that the spin-off manga series that kicked off this year in Japan called Dragonball Episode of Bardock is getting an anime adaptation. The manga is a three part special that ran late this summer in V-Jump and is connected to the larger Dragon Ball Force Project that’s getting the property a bit of new life. This comes after the re-cut high definition release of the Dragon Ball Z series that hewed closer to the original manga and got rid of a lot of the extraneous material that extended the original run for far, far too many episodes.

With the unconfirmed aspects, what’s being included in that realm is that the special will come in April 2012, which is where a lot of current announcements are landing, and that the main cast will be made up of Goku’s voice actor Masako Nozawa, Freeza’s voice actor, Ryuusei Nakao, and Aki Toyosaki.
