
FUNimation is getting a few more ducks in a row with the license rescue of
.hack.//ROOTS. Ahead of the home video release, they’ve now brought out the first four episodes of the show for their All-AccessPass members to check out on their site with the English language dub. The series was previously released early last decade by Bandai Entertainment but is part of a large roundup of rescues FUNimation did to bring this property back for fans. The distributor is releasing the show on May 19th, 2015 in a Complete Collection which will feature the bilingual presentation as well as extras including a Promo Video, TV Spots, DVD Release Announcements, Textless Opening Song ”Silly-Go-Round” and the Textless Closing Song ”Boukoku Kakusei Catharsis”.

Plot concept: In the newest version of the massive online RPG know as “The World,” Haseo and his guild mates search for a legendary item called the Key of the Twilight—but they’re not the only ones looking for it.
