‘I, Frankenstein’ Goes To Lakeshore Entertainment The interesting monster property, I, Frankenstein, from DarkStorm Comics, has moved forward again. Originally a feature was planned back in 2009 when the screenwriter and director from Underworld: Rise of the Lycans were going to come on board the project, but things stalled out after awhile and the project seemed to move into development hell. Heat Vision is reporting some progress on that front though as Stuart Beattie is coming on board as the writer and director for the film. The original comic creator, Kevin Grevioux, who wrote the original screenplay for the movie, is moving to the role of an executive producer for it.

Grevioux was the co-creator of the Underworld series of films, which was also produced by Lakeshore Entertainment.

Plot concept: I, Frankenstein pictures a modern-day world where the classic literary monster stands between humans and a host of other supernatural creatures looking to rise up and take over.
